Questions and responses submitted through our website’s virtual assistant

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is standard web server logging.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as necessary to operate our business (our booking platform, payment processors, and SMS provider).

Virtual assistant

Questions submitted through our website’s virtual assistant and the answers it provides may be retained so we can review common questions and improve accuracy. Conversations are assigned an anonymous browser-session identifier. Obvious email addresses, phone numbers, and booking references are filtered from review logs when possible. You should still avoid entering payment details or other sensitive personal information in the chat. Messages are processed by OpenAI to generate a response.

SMS and WhatsApp messaging

When you book a tour, we may send you tour-related messages via SMS or WhatsApp using the phone number you provided at booking. These messages include booking confirmations, pre-tour reminders, weather updates, and post-tour follow-ups. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Waiver records

Signed waivers are stored securely and retained for the period required by applicable law. Waiver records include your name, signature, date of signing, and the information you provided on the form.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Bokun: booking and payment processing
Twilio: SMS and WhatsApp messaging
Formspree: contact and inquiry forms
Google: Google Maps embeds and Google Business Profile
OpenAI for virtual assistant responses
